ALEC is an adult literacy, education and consulting organization, specializing in adult literacy and numeracy professional development, education and consulting. As an NZQA registered and accredited private training establishment (PTE), ALEC are a niche provider of NCALE (Voc) training and related adult literacy and numeracy education. Included in their training portfolio, ALEC are authorised trainers for International Computer Drivers Licence (ICDL) and e-Citizen.

ALEC chose to work with FRED primarily for several reasons. They wanted a fully manageable CMS, they wanted a system that could grow as their business grew, they liked the ability to be able to add micro sites to their core website system, they were impressed with the usability of the Contegro CMS, and most of all they liked us.

ALEC.ac.nz has been built on the Contegro Enterprise system.
